Sweet, sweet victory for Phillips at Sweet Springs
Blue Springs, Missouri's Waylon Phillips put it all together Saturday night at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Sweet Springs, Missouri, earning the evening's Stock Non-Wing Micro victory in convincing fashion. In fact, it was a "clean sweep" for Phillips, not only winning the 20-lap main event, but opening competition with a heat race triumph, as well.
In addition, Phillips competed in the Outlaw Non-Wing Micro portion of the Sweet Springs program. Although he raced on to finish second in his respective heat race, he did not compete in 20-lap feature.
