Phillips opens 2026 with IMCA sprint start at US 36
Waylon Phillips' 2026 campaign is finally underway, and what a way it opened, entering the IMCA Sprint Car portion of the World of Outlaws invasion of US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, on Friday, March 27. The Blue Springs, Missouri, wheelman joined 14 other competitors for the event, and although his feature outcome was outside of the top-ten, scored 13th from ninth on the grid, notes were taken and progress was achieved, already aiming big in his next start - if Mother Nature ever cooperates.
