Phillips tallies fifth-place finish at Emma Indoor

Waylon invaded Emma Indoors (Emma, Mo.) on Saturday evening to pull double duty for the two-day 12th annual Winter Classic.

Rebounding in the Jr. 2 Light Pro ranks after the Jr. 2 Light feature saw Phillips exit early on the fifth circuit, Waylon recorded a 13th-place finish.

On Sunday, Waylon came in ninth in the Jr. 2 Heavy Mega feature before capping off the weekend with a fifth-place finish in the Jr. 2 Heavy A-Main. He chased Alex Schultz, Aiden Sullivan, Bentlee Connor, and Haidyn Hansen across the line.
