Phillips grabs first win of 2025 at Sweet Springs

It didn’t take long for 15-year-old Waylon Phillips to notch his first win of the 2025 season. The Blue Springs, Missouri native visited victory lane over the weekend at his home track, Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.

Pulling double duty on Saturday night, Phillips opened the evening with a runner-up finish in the Non-Wing Outlaw Micro division. He then returned to the track and delivered a flag-to-flag victory in the Stock Non-Wing class, regaining the lead from Jesse Pate on the final lap to seal the 25-lap triumph.
