Phillips makes 305 sprint debut at Central Missouri Speedway
Waylon Phillips made the jump from micro sprints to 305ci sprints during the recent weekend, turning his first-ever competitive laps at Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Missouri, on Saturday, August 23. Although eventually "looping it" in the main event, Phillips, fresh off of a Sweet Springs micro clean sweep from a weekend prior, set the fourth-fastest time of the night, making noticeable progress in each lap completed.
Prior to his visit to Central Missouri, Phillips tested his 305 machine at Electric City Speedway in Butler, Missouri; the experience was challenging, yet enjoyable.
