Phillips 11th in Central Missouri 305 start
Waylon Phillips is making the most of his step-up to 305 sprint car competition, and he's making progress, to boot. In fact, in just his second-ever 305 sprint car start, Phillips finished 11th, doing so at Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Missouri, on Sunday, August 31. Adding the evening's stat chart, Phillips' eventual end result was the product of forward progress, climbing ahead three spots from 14th on the grid. There were 16 cars entered for action.
