Waylon Phillips victorious at Nevada Speedway
Missouri's own Waylon Phillips is certainly enjoying his time in the winged sprint car ranks, and with only a handful of starts under his belt, he's officially a winner, doing so at Nevada Speedway in Nevada, Missouri, on Saturday, September 13. Claiming the Mo-Kan IMCA triumph, Phillips started his winning trek from the front row, driving on to basically conquer the 20-lapper with Iowa invader Logan Moore finishing just behind.
Heat race competition witnessed nearly the same with Phillips finishing second after starting from the point; there were 13 total cars entered for action.
